The following describes the terms of service which apply to participation in the referral or account opening “Welcome Bonus” promotional programs (collectively, the “Bonus Programs”) currently offered by Relief Technologies Inc. (“Relief”). If you wish to participate in any Bonus Program described below, you agree to the terms for such Referral Program described below.
Please note that:
Additional terms and conditions apply.
Each person referred should be someone you have a direct, personal relationship with. You may not distribute a Referral Code or otherwise solicit anyone through mass email, any form of commercial advertising or other similar means.
Relief reserves the right to review, investigate, and disqualify anyone from participation in the Referral Programs at any time, and reserves the right to not honor any referral which in our sole discretion was solicited in a manner inconsistent with the spirit or terms and conditions of the Referral Programs.
Furthermore, Relief reserves the right to seek reimbursement from any customer (including by deduction from their account) of amounts paid to customers solicited via mass solicitation. Please note that in certain circumstances the deduction of such amounts from their account may result in a negative balance.
To protect the privacy of those you refer, referral prospect account information or eligibility is not, under any circumstances, permitted to be shared with referral promoters.
The Relief Referral Program is open to all current Relief account holders who meet the criteria below, and who wish to refer someone to submit Payment Plan offers t. A referrer must be a Relief customer with a Payment Plan which is in good standing (i.e. not suspended) (an “Eligible Referrer(s)”).
The Eligible Referrers are encouraged to refer their contacts and people in their networks whom they believe may be interested in opening a Relief account (the “Eligible Recipient(s)”). Relief reserves the right to disqualify anyone from participation in the Relief Referral Program at any time. Anyone who violates these terms and conditions is ineligible for payment of any bonus.
To receive credit for a referral made under the Relief Referral Program, an Eligible Referrer must access their own unique referral code and send it to the Eligible Recipient(s), whom they wish to refer to start a payment plan through Relief. The Eligible Recipient must use the Eligible Referrer’s unique referral code to start the payment plan and meet the terms and conditions of the specific promotional campaign associated with the unique referral code that was used for the referral.
For each Eligible Recipient who starts a payment plan and successfully makes their first payment on that plan within 30 days after receipt of the Eligible Referrer’s unique referral code, and meets the terms and conditions of the specific promotional campaign associated with the unique referral code that was used for the referral, Relief or its designee will: (a) credit the account of the Eligible Referrer, with a referral bonus in the amount specified in the promotional campaign associated with the code that was used for the referral (the “Referral Bonus”); and (b) credit the new Relief Account of the Eligible Recipient, with a one-time bonus in the amount specified in the promotional campaign associated with the unique referral code that was used for the referral (the “Relief Bonus”). Only one Referral Bonus will be awarded for each referred Eligible Recipient, regardless of whether the Eligible Recipient uses multiple products. An Eligible Referrer will not earn a Referral Bonus if the Eligible Recipient has or had an existing funded Relief account, or does not use the unique referral code provided by the Eligible Referrer.
If the Eligible Recipient already has an account, is on our opt-out list, has an invalid email, or has already received and used another Eligible Referrer’s unique referral code, Relief will not send an email to the Eligible Recipient or credit their account. We cannot disclose to you any information about an account opened by any Eligible Recipient you refer to us. Participation in the Referral Program serves as a one-time, limited waiver of privacy rights by both you and the Eligible Recipient, pursuant to which each may become aware that the other has an account relationship with Relief.
This promotion will end on 12/31/2024 at 23:59 PT
Relief will add the sum of the party’s accumulated credits to their last payment of their debt. Should the user exceed their final payment with credits the second to last payment will include the credits.
In no event will any person be entitled to receive more than $10,000 in cumulative referrals or welcome bonuses under these Referral Programs within any calendar year. In addition, Relief reserves the right to, at any time, limit the maximum number of times a Referral code can be used. Referral Bonuses are considered miscellaneous income and may be reportable to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in soliciting referrals. Eligible referrers may not purchase internet search terms or publicly advertise Relief’s products or name in any fashion. Further, any distribution of a program link or code that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam,” any content which impersonates or implies an affiliation with or endorsement by Relief, or any actions which otherwise violate any terms or conditions imposed by Relief, are prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination from a Referral Program. We will not honor referral payments for referrals which are generated using any of the foregoing means.
Your participation in a Referral Program is solely as an independent contractor. Neither you nor Relief intend to establish an employment relationship, and you are not entitled to any benefits. If the cumulative welcome or referral bonuses paid to an individual in one calendar year exceed $599 USD, then we may require completion of a Form W-9 prior to fund disbursement. Any payments that are not claimed within 180 days of the date the funds have been made available because either the direct deposit bank account or required tax information have not been provided are subject to forfeit.
In the event any of the terms of these Terms of Service conflicts with any terms in a specific promotional campaign, the terms of these Terms of Service shall govern.
